Ditch the Junk Food Diet to Lose Weight

One of the main contenders for the title of Best Way to Get Fat is to eat plenty of junk food. You can really go to town on hamburgers, fries, hot dogs, pizza and all the other great things to eat and before you know it, you are heading for Obesity City with the way back blocked by a narrow path called Addiction. If this sounds a little too familiar to you, especially as you have made the decision to try and lose weight but are finding it tough going, then this may help you some.

Fast food or junk food or processed food… call it what you like, it is making you fat and not only that but you are becoming (or already are) addicted to it. There might not be a logical reason that you can see why you would become addicted to any kind of food, because after all, a person has to eat, don’t they? True, and most fresh food is good for you and will keep you healthy and because it contains all the nutrients you need you should not ever need to worry about getting fat. But you’re not eating fresh food, are you?

Nope, you’re eating pizza, burgers, fries etc and washing it all down with plenty of soda! Wrong, wrong, wrong!

You want to lose weight you have to have a change of diet and quit eating and drinking that stuff. But when you try, you get serious withdrawal and can’t stop thinking about that juicy burger or that cool, refreshing can of coke. Why is that? Surely you can just switch to eating healthy salads, meals made from real meat and vegetables and just drink water, right? Well, that’s what you should do. But you try, yet you keep going back to the processed option.

You do that because of the additives that food contains plus its content of saturated fats. We like the taste and we get very close to being truly addicted to food containing flavor enhancers such as monosodium glutamate (MSG). Soda also contains additives and you do get hooked on the sugar, but the diet options are even worse because the artificial sweeteners like aspartame can also become addictive. The only way to lose weight is to break out if the cycle of eating and drinking this stuff and the only way you are going to do that is with a positive mindset, a big dose of self esteem and an attitude of “I CAN”

Then you have to make I can become I am doing it and switch your diet for keeps and then you will start to lose weight the right way.
